Today, Wang Teng Thomas, the general manager and spokesperson of the Redmi brand, made headlines by announcing the launch of his Douyin account. Known for revealing details about upcoming Redmi phones before their official announcement, Thomas did not disappoint in his inaugural video on the short video-sharing platform, showcasing a forthcoming Redmi smartphone, set for release next month.
Redmi Note 13 Turbo display design revealed
The video gave viewers a glimpse of the stunning front design of the new Redmi phone. Sporting an ultra-narrow straight screen design, the phone boasts equal-width top, left, and right sides, with a slightly slimmer bottom bezel. Notably, the brand has removed the plastic bracket around the screen. It seems that the teased device could be the Redmi Note 13 Turbo.
According to reports, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will be equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It is speculated that the Xiaomi phone model number 24069RA21C, which was recently approved by China’s 3C authority, could be the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Turbo. The certification revealed that the device may support 90W fast charging.
As far as the display is concerned, it is expected to support a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device may pack a 5,000mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 13 Turbo will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. However, it may be rebranded or slightly modified with the Poco F6 branding in markets outside of China. It is speculated that the Poco F6 and the Poco F6 Pro may break cover in April or May.
