Redmi Note 14 series teased for the first time, launching soon

In the second half of this year, Redmi launched the Redmi K70 Ultra phone in the Chinese market. Rumors suggest that Redmi will soon launch the Redmi Note 14 series, followed by the Redmi K80 lineup in the remaining months of this year. A new development suggests that the Redmi Note 14 series may break cover as early as this month in China.

Wang Teng Thomas teases the Redmi Note 14 series

Wang Teng Thomas, who is the Deputy General Manager of Xiaomi China Marketing Department and General Manager for the Redmi brand, released the above-shown Weibo post after the launch of the Apple iPhone 16 series. He asserted that the advertised features of the iPhone 16 series include improved drop resistance and battery life. He further added that Redmi’s new Note series of phones also excels in these departments.

The Redmi Note 14 series is currently busy bagging 3C certifications in China. Recently, the 24094RAD4C phone, which is believed to be the Redmi Note 14 5G, was spotted with a 45W fast charger. In addition, the Redmi Note 14 Pro, which is said to have the 24115RA8EC model number, was spotted with a 90W charger in 3C’s database. It is speculated a third phone with model number 24094RA29C, which is yet to receive any certification, could be the Redmi Note 14 Pro+.

Qualcomm recently unveiled the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. It is speculated that this new chip will power the Redmi Note 14 Pro. On the other hand, the Note 14 Pro+ is expected to feature the Dimensity 7350 chipset. Likely, the Note 14 series will debut this month in China.

In November, the brand is expected to unveil the Redmi K80e, K80, and K80 Pro, which will be powered by the Dimensity 8400, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets, respectively. The K80 and K80 Pro are likely to face competition from the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, which are also expected to debut in the same month with the same chipsets.
