Redmi will unveil the Redmi Note 15 series of smartphones tomorrow (Aug. 21) in China. Ahead of the launch, the brand has been confirming the key specifications of the Note 15 Pro+. Today, the brand released the following images to confirm the camera and chipset details of the device.

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ to feature Snapdragon 7s Gen 4
Today, Redmi confirmed that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50E (Light Fusion 800) primary camera. It will be accompanied by an ultra-wide shooter and a telephoto camera that supports 2.5x optical zoom.
The company is yet to confirm the sensors behind the ultra-wide and telephoto cameras. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ camera samples released by the brand showcase its photography prowess across different focal lengths.
Today, the brand also revealed that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is powered by the all-new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. In terms of performance, the new chip is a modest upgrade compared to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which clocked at 2.5GHz. In comparison, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 has a top speed of 2.7GHz.
Other reports have revealed that the Note 15 Pro+ will come equipped with a 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED screen, which will support a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will have a massive 7,000mAh battery with 90W charging support.
The Note 15 Pro+ is likely to feature a 20-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It will come with other features, such as HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15, dual speakers, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and an IP68/69/69K-rated body.
There is no information about the Redmi Note 15 series’ global launch. Likely, it will debut by the end of this year or by early January.
