Redmi Note 5 in China to Deliver Full Screen Gestures Experience

Xiaomi will be launching the Redmi Note 5 phone on March 16. Today, Xiaomi President Lin Bin has confirmed that the Redmi Note 5 will preinstalled with full screen gestures features. He has shared a small video to show how users can make use of different gestures to navigate on the Redmi Note 5.

The video reveals that in order to access the home screen, users will have to simply swiping upwards from the bottom portion of the display. In the same way, in order to access the background apps, users will need to swipe upwards from the bottom and pause on the screen. Swiping to the left or right from the side of the display to its center will let users see the previous level.  The official Weibo account of Xiaomi Redmi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 5 will be coming with AI Smart Beauty, Snapdragon 636, 6 GB of RAM, face unlock, full netcom 5.0 support and 4,000mAh capacity battery.

Recent reports have claimed that the Redmi Note 5 Pro that was launched in previous month in India will be rebranded as Redmi Note 5 in China. However, some reports claim that it may arrive with different pair of dual rear cameras. It is expected to arrive in variants like 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. These models are expected to arrive in the market with respective price tag of 1,199 Yuan, 1,499 Yuan and 1,799 Yuan.
