Yesterday, Redmi had claimed through Weibo that it will be announcing a new color edition for the Redmi Note 7 smartphone. Keeping true to its promise, the Chinese firm has today shared the render of the new color variant of the Redmi Note 7.
Redmi has not confirmed the name of the below shown color edition of the Redmi Note 7 smartphone. One who is able to guess its name correctly will be provided with a Redmi suitcase as prize. The new color variant has a sleek appeal and mostly appears white. With reflection of light, it appears silver in some areas.
The Redmi Note 7 has a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel with waterdrop notch. It supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is guarded with Gorilla Glass 5 on front and rear sides.
The MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device. The Snapdragon 660 chipset powers the phone with up to 6 GB of RAM. It features 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup and a front facing camera of 13-megapixel. The smartphone is packed with a 4,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through USB-C. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the rear shell of the phone.
