This morning Redmi President Lu Weibing had confirmed that it will be launching the Redmi Note 7 Pro in the next week. The confirmation was made through a Weibo post. In the comments section on the same post, he hinted that the price of Redmi Note 7 Pro will not exceed 2,000 Yuan ($297).
Soon after Weibing confirmed the arrival of the Redmi Note 7 Pro, a Weibo user claimed that he was confused to choose between Redmi Note 7 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 9. Redmi President responded to him by saying that the Redmi Note 7 Pro is for 2,000 Yuan ($297) and Xiaomi Mi 9 is for 3,000 Yuan ($446). This suggests that the price of the Redmi Note 7 Pro will remain under 2,000 Yuan ($297).
The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a starting price of 2,999 Yuan which suggests that the Redmi Note 7 Pro’s may come for 1,999 Yuan. Probably, the handset may release in two storage options such as 64 GB and 128 GB and 1,999 Yuan could be the price of the highest storage variant. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is confirmed to feature a 6.3-inch LCD panel, 6 GB of RAM, 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, 4,000mAh battery and 128 GB of storage.
