Soon after the launch of Redmi Note 7 smartphone in India in February, the Chinese firm had launched its global edition with a different rear camera setup. The Note 7 for India camera with 12-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera module whereas its global version featured 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. The global edition of the phone has gone official today in India with Redmi Note 7S moniker.
Redmi Note 7S Specifications and Features
Like the Redmi Note 7, the Note 7S has a 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen with waterdrop notch. It produces full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 660 chipset fuels the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage versions of the Note 7S.
The handset includes a 4,000mAh capacity battery carries support for up to 18W charging through USB-C. However, it is shipped with a 10W charger. For snapping selfies, it has a front-facing camera of 13-megapixel. Its dual camera setup includes a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.
Redmi Note 7S Price and Release Date
The 32 GB and 64 GB storage editions of the Redmi Note 7S are respectively priced at Rs. 10,999 (~$159) and Rs. 12,999 (~$189). The sales of the phone will begin through online channels of Xiaomi and Flipkart from May 23. Its color options include Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red.
