Recently, Xiaomi has begun teasing the company’s upcoming Redmi Note 9 series smartphones which are set to bolster the company’s 5G mid-ranger offerings in the Chinese market.
Although they bears the same moniker, but the upcoming Redmi Note 9 series smartphones scheduled to be launched in China are different from the Redmi Note 9 series devices which were made official in the global market earlier this year.
So far, we’d already learned that the Redmi Note 9 series will arrive in at least two different models which include the Redmi Note 9 5G, as well as a slightly more expensive Redmi Note 9 High Edition (or Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G).
Right now, the Redmi Note 9 High Edition has allegedly been spotted on Geekbench 5 (via @stufflistings) with the new Snapdragon 750G chipset along with an ample 8GB RAM.
The device achieved a pretty impressive scores of 645 points and 1,963 points respectively for its single-core and multi-cores performance tests which sit above most mid-ranger phones we have in the current market.
Other than that, we also learned from its TENAA listing that the Redmi Note 9 High Edition will arrive with a powerful quad camera system lead by a 108 megapixels Samsung HM2 sensor and will be able to support up to 33W fast-charging.
According to a recent leak, the Redmi Note 9 series smartphones are expected to break cover on November 26th next week – two days after the official launch of POCO M3.
