Redmi India has all of a sudden started teasing on the arrival of the Redmi Note 9 smartphone. The landing page of the phone is now up on the official website. It confirms that the Redmi Note 9 will break cover on March 12.
The landing page of the phone has no information on the specs of the Redmi Note 9. The handset will be arriving with an impressive and will offer topnotch photography experience. While the processor that powers the device is not known yet, it promises to deliver immersive gaming experience. Also, the phone will be equipped with fast charging capabilities. The smartphone will be exclusively available through Amazon India in the country.
When it comes to design, the Redmi Note 9 may sport a glass body like the predecessor Redmi Note 8 series. However, instead of a vertical quad camera setup, the phone may arrive with a square-shaped camera module housing as many as four cameras.
Some reports have claimed Xiaomi will be launching the Mi 10 series and Redmi 9 smartphones as well in India in this month. However, there has been no confirmation yet from Xiaomi India on the arrival of these devices in the country. The Redmi Note 9 could be one of the upcoming phones to arrive with India’s NAViC location tracking technology.
The competitor Realme 6 Pro will be arriving with a dual punch-hole screen. It remains to be seen whether the Redmi Note 9 also arrives with a punch-hole display. With 10 days remaining for the launch of the Redmi Note 9, the Chinese manufacturer is expected to release some teasers to confirm on some of its specs and features.
