Recently, an unannounced Redmi smartphone bearing the model number M2007J22C had been certified by several regulatory bodies including FCC and Malaysian SRIM authority to name a few. Based on the FCC filings, this device is expected to be marketed as the Redmi Note 9T 5G in the global market.
Right now, the same device has also been spotted on Geekbench 5 database along with some of its crucial specs which suggest that the device is likely to be a rebranded model of the Redmi Note 9 5G which was announced in the Chinese market last month.
According to its Geekbench listing, the Redmi Note 9T 5G will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset coupled with 4GB RAM. Although it was listed with Android 10 OS, but there’s a possibility that the device might be shipped with the new Android 11 out of the box.
In terms of performance, the Redmi Note 9T 5G achieved a typical mid-ranger score of 598 points for its single-core benchmark test and 1,760 points for its multi-cores test.
Other than that, we can expect the Redmi Note 9T 5G to arrive with a 6.53-inches FHD+ LCD display, 48MP triple-camera setup, 13MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery, 18W fast-charging support, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
If nothing goes wrong, the Redmi Note 9T 5G could be announced as early as January next month.
