It seems like Redmi will be kicking off the year with a series of smartphone launches including the Redmi Note 9T 5G and Redmi 9T.
Right now, new information has revealed that the Redmi Note 9T 5G is likely to be announced during the first week of January which doesn’t exactly came as a surprise to us given that the device had already bagged all the necessary certifications over the last couple of weeks.
For those who’d missed out, the upcoming Redmi Note 9T 5G is expected to be a rebranded model of the Redmi Note 9 5G which was launched in the Chinese market earlier this year as hinted by its recent Geekbench listing.
In terms of specs, the Redmi Note 9T 5G is expected to feature a 6.53-inches FHD+ LCD display that comes with a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner which houses a 13 megapixels selfie camera.
At the back, the device comes with a triple-camera setup which is housed within a circular camera island. These cameras include a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset which allows the device to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. On top of that, it is also expected to come with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep its lights on, the Redmi Note 9T 5G is fitted with a 5,000mAh battery that comes along with 18W fast-charging support. Other than that, there’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.
