Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the highly-anticipated Redmi Note 9T 5G will be making its global debut on January 8th later this week. On the same day, the company will also be launching the Redmi 9T in the Malaysian market.
The Redmi Note 9T has been previously spotted at several platforms such as SIRIM in Malaysia, NBTC in Thailand, and TUV Rheinland. Last month, it appeared with Dimensity 800U SoC, 4 GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS on Geekbench. It can be said based on recent reports that the Redmi Note 9T will be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 9 5G that was announced in November.

The Redmi Note 9 5G has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD FHD+ screen with a punch-hole design. Its SoC is accompanied by LPPDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It boots to MIUI 12 flavored Android 10 OS.
For snapping selfies, it has a front camera of 13-megapixel. The round-shaped camera module on its back has a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel superwide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth helper. Other features of the smartphone include a side-mounted fingerprint and a microSD card slot. There is no information available on its pricing.
