Redmi recently confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 4 will debut on Jan. 2, 2025, in China. The brand has released a couple of posters to share details about its battery specifications and durability.
The first poster confirms that the Redmi Turbo 4 features a powerful 6,550mAh battery, which supports up to 1600 charge cycles over four years, ensuring long-term durability. The Redmi K80, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, also packs the same battery.
The massive battery can maintain 80 percent of its original capacity even after extensive use, thanks to its silicon-carbon anode material. Like the 14 Ultra, the Turbo 4 is equipped with a dual boost cold-resistant chip, allowing the phone to function in temperatures as low as -35°C.
Redmi is also offering a five-year battery warranty for users who purchase the device during the initial sales period. This warranty promises free battery replacement if its health drops below 80 percent within five years like the offer previously seen with the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. The other poster confirms that the Turbo 4 will offer up to an IP69 rating of dust and water resistance.
