Redmi recently confirmed key details of the Turbo 5 Max, including its chipset, battery capacity, and charging capabilities. Now, the brand has followed this up by releasing a fresh set of teasers that reveal additional aspects of the device. These new confirmations offer a clearer understanding of how the Turbo 5 Max is shaping up ahead of its official debut.
Redmi Turbo 5 Max’s new details confirmed
The latest teasers confirm that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will feature a large 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The panel is rated to reach up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness and will support 3,840Hz PWM dimming,
For audio, the Turbo 5 Max will feature dual 1115F symmetric stereo speakers. Connectivity features include a dedicated T1S signal enhancement chip and support for kilometer-level network-free communication, enabling long-range off-grid connectivity. On the camera side, the device will feature an OmniVision Light Fusion 600 primary sensor with enhanced dynamic range.
The Turbo 5 Max will feature a metal middle frame, contributing to a more solid in-hand feel. The phone is also confirmed to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, indicating resistance against dust and high-pressure water. For security, it will have an utltrasonic in-screen fingeprint sensor.
The brand has previously revealed that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max is powered by the all-new Dimensity 9500s chip. It will pack a 9,000mAh battery, which will offer 100W wired charging and 27W reverse charging support.
Redmi has already confirmed that the Turbo 5 Max will be available in blue, white, and orange colour options. The brand will officially unveil the Redmi Turbo 5 Max on January 29 in China. At the same event, Redmi will also introduce the standard Turbo 5 alongside it. In terms of pricing, the Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max are expected to cost around $300 and $360, respectively, in China.
