Redmi TV 3C Certified; Launch Nearing?

Yesterday, Redmi General Lu Weibing had hinted that the company could be selling a Redmi TV. It appears that the company will be indeed selling a TV soon in China since a Redmi TV has received 3C certification in the country. Probably, the company may release its first TV in the next few months.

The 3C listing reveals that the Redmi Tv has a model number of L70M5-RA. The model number suggests that it is a 70-inch TV which is quite massive. It is believed that Redmi has a smaller TV with model number L40M5-FA.

Redmi TV 3C certified

Starting from the beginning of this year, Redmi established itself as an independent brand and separated from parent firm Xiaomi. Since then, it has managed to release entry-level to flagship phones in the first half of 2019. Moreover, it has also released other devices such as notebooks, powerbanks, headphones, luggage bags and a washing machine. It appears Redmi TV will also be added soon to its product portfolio. Redmi is known for selling its products with affordable price tags. Hence, it is very likely that Redmi 40-inch and 70-inch TV will carry budget-friendly price tags. Probably, the 70-inch model will deliver 4K UHD resolution.
