Recently, the PTCRB (certification for wireless Devices) had just certified the Android Marshmallow for both the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua and the M4 Aqua Dual devices as seen in the bump of its build number from 26.1.A.3.111 to 26.3.A.0.131.
Since it usually take at least 2-3 weeks before the official updates are being rolled out, we do expect it to arrive somewhere during the first week of August – and true enough we are right.
According to the latest Rogers firmware update schedule, the Marshmallow update will be rolled out to the Xperia M4 Aqua starting August 3rd next month. This give us a hint that the international roll out for other models is imminent.
Of course, this will probably be the last major firmware update ever received by the device other than the monthly security updates.
