According to a renowned Chinese tipster, the OPPO Reno3’s successor is likely to make it’s official debut in May later this year. This means that the Reno5 series will be launched after the OPPO Ace2 debuts in April.
If the alleged OPPO Reno 5 is indeed launching in May, it further confirms the theory that the Ace 2 won’t be included in the Reno lineup, as the same is launching in April.#OPPOAce2 #OPPOReno5

It is widely believed that the Reno3 series will make a direct jump straight to the Reno5 branding, due to the fact that the digit “4” is deemed to be auspicious in Chinese tradition and is therefore preferable to omit it from product branding.
As usual, the upcoming Reno5 series is expected to consist largely of mid-ranger to upper mid-ranger smartphones. Ever since OPPO announced the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom, there hasn’t been another flagship phone from the Reno product line till date.
As of now, information pertaining to the Reno5 smartphone series remain relatively scare. However, we do hope that the company will bring back the signature shark fin-style selfie camera which was last seen on the OPPO Reno2.
