Samsung has unveiled a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Galaxy A21 Simple SCV49 in the Japanese market which is currently available exclusively through Japanese carrier au.
The Samsung Galaxy A21 Simple sports a 5.8” TFT display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera housed within a dewdrop-notch.
On the flipside of the phone, it comes along with a tiny pill-shape camera module which is home to single 13 megapixels shooter as well as a LED flash to help in low-light photography.
The Samsung Galaxy A21 Simple is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7884B chipset along with 3GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be further expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Galaxy A21 Simple draws power from a 3,600mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Interesting, the phone does carry IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Those who’re interested in the Galaxy A21 Simple can pick up the phone in either Black or White colorways. In the Japanese market, the phone is priced at 22,000 Yen (US$200) for it’s 3GB+64GB model.
