Samsung will soon be launching a new entry-level smartphone known as the Galaxy A22 which is expected to be offered in both 4G and 5G variants. Recently, it’s 5G variant had already been spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. Now, the 4G variant of the phone has also made it’s appearance on the same platform along with some of it’s key specs.
According to it’s listing, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A22 smartphone will indeed be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, just like what recent reports have suggested.
If you still recall, that’s in fact the same chip which is also used in the Samsung Galaxy A32 4G. Aside from that, the same listing also revealed that the phone will shipped alongside 6GB RAM and Android 11 OS out of the box.
Though it’s Geekbench listing doesn’t reveal the rest of the specs, but we do know from earlier leaks that the Galaxy A22 4G will be arriving with a 6.4” AMOLED display which features a HD+ screen resolution and a 13 megapixels selfie camera.
For photography, the Galaxy A22 relies on a quad-camera system which is said to include a 48 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels auxiliary cameras. Other than that, the device is also likely to be fitted with a 5,000mAh battery under the hood that comes with 15W fast-charging support.
