After launching the Galaxy A22 5G smartphone in the global market, Samsung is now back with a follow up model known as the Galaxy A22s 5G in the Russian market. The new model comes with the same design and largely identical specs as the Galaxy A22 5G that was launched back in June this year.
Starting with the front, the Galaxy A22s 5G builds around a 6.6” TFT display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution along with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. For selfie, the phone has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera housed within it’s V-shaped notch.
At the back, the Galaxy A22s feature a square-shaped camera module which is home to a triple-cam setup comprising of a 48 megapixels wide camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography.
Under the hood, the device retains the same MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM as well as an option between 64GB or 128GB built-in storage that can be expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, it draws power from a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. Other than that, it also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and will be shipped with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11.
At the moment, Samsung has yet to announce the pricing and availability details of the Galaxy A22s 5G.
