Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) SM-A530F Appears on Geekbench with Exynos 7885, 4 GB RAM

Recent rumors have revealed that the Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A5 (2017) could be powered by the all new 14nm Exynos 7885 chipset. It seems that the rumor may come true as a Samsung phone with model number SM-A530F has appeared with Exynos 7885 SoC on Geekbench.

The model number of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is SM-A520F. Hence, it can be guessed that the SM-A530F is the forthcoming Galaxy A5 (2018). The Geekbench listing shows that the smartphone is driven by universal7885 chipset which indicates that the Exynos 7885 is powering it. The SoC is coupled with 4 GB of RAM. The predecessor phone features 3 GB of RAM. The handset is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.

As far as performance is concerned, the Exynos 7885 chipset that features 1.59 GHz octa-core processor has recorded 1,541 score on single-core test. It has scored 4,351 in multi-core test.

Recent rumors have revealed that all the upcoming Galaxy A (2018) series phones will be equipped with Bixby AI button. These phones are also rumored to arrive with dual rear cameras. The Galaxy A (2018) series is expected to debut in January 2018. More information on the Galaxy A (2018) smartphones are expected as the end of the year draw nears.
