Samsung has recently registered Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A40 and Galaxy A50 smartphones. Among these devices, the rumor mill has already revealed information on the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 handsets. Previous reports have revealed that the Galaxy A50 that has a model number of SM-A505F will be the company’s first smartphone to feature Exynos 9610 chipset. The SoC will be coupled with 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone will come preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS.
New information that has surfaced today reveals that it will be featuring a rear camera of 24-megapixel. However, there is no confirmation on whether the Galaxy A50 will be featuring a dual or triple camera setup Also, the handset will be packed with a 4,000mAh battery. Also, the handset is rumored to arrive with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Samsung is expected to incorporate an optical in-display fingerprint sensor on the phone instead of the more accurate ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner that will be used on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus.
There is no confirmation on the launch timeframe of the Galaxy A50 handset. The handset may go official after the announcement of the budget-friendly Galaxy M10 and M20 handsets and Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus flagship smartphones.
