Recently, we’d been hearing a great deal about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 duo which are expected to break cover in the next couple of weeks. Now, thanks to the folks over at Winfuture.de, we’re able to learn more about the Galaxy A52 and A52 5G prior to their official launch.
As suggested by their moniker, both the Galaxy A52 and A52 5G will share largely identical specs except for their underlying chipset. The Samsung Galaxy A52 will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 720G chipset, while the Galaxy A52 5G settles for the latest Snapdragon 750G chipset which brings 5G connectivity to the device.
In the memory department, the Galaxy A52 will be available in both 6GB+128GB as well as 8GB+256GB variants. For additional storage, its storage capacity can be further expanded via a microSD card as well.
Upfront, the Samsung Galaxy A52 devices will arrive with a 6.5-inches SuperAMOLED display that offers a standard FHD+ screen resolution as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. It comes with the usual central hole-punch design to accommodate a 32 megapixels selfie camera.
Over at the back, it features a rectangular camera housing which looks identical to what we saw on the Galaxy A72. Its quad-camera system is said to include a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Keeping its lights on will be a 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 25W fast-charging via a USB Type-C port. Other than that, its also worth nothing that the device is IP67 certified and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy A52 is tipped to carry a starting price of 349 Euros (US$424) in the European market.
