Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 May Launch in India in Mid-March, Claims Report

Multiple reports have revealed the specifications of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones. A recent leak claimed that these phones will break cover in March. According to a new report by 91mobiles, the Galaxy A52 and A72 will launch in India by the middle of the coming month.

Past reports have revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A52 will come with a 6.5-inch S-AMOLED display that will offer a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The same Galaxy A72 5G is expected to house a larger 6.7-inch S-AMOLED screen with same resolution and refresh rate.

For shooting selfies, the Galaxy A52 and A72 feature a 32-megapixel front camera. The rear shell of both phones has a quad-camera setup that comprises a 64-megapixel main lens, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Both phones will boot to Android 11 OS overlaid with One UI 3.1.

The Galaxy A52 and A72 could be powered by the Snapdragon 720 chipset. Their 5G editions may feature Snapdragon 750G chipset. The A52 may house a 4,500mAh battery, whereas a larger 5,000mAh battery could fuel the Galaxy A72. Both handsets are expected to arrive with support for 25W rapid charging. The A52 and A72 smartphones are expected to come with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of native storage.

The Galaxy A52 4G is expected to arrive in Vietnam with a starting price of VND 9.3 million ($400). Its 5G version may cost VND 11 million ($478). The Galaxy A72 4G may cost 449 euros ($542) in Europe.
