Last month, there were reports suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 smartphones will be announced this month in several markets including India. Right now, a Chinese retailer seems to suggest that the Galaxy A52 will be launched in the Chinese market on March 17th in the Chinese market.
Prior to its launch, most of the device’s key specs and even its official design had actually been made known thanks to several leaks over the past couple of months.
So from what we’d learned so far, the Samsung Galaxy A52 is expected to feature a 6.5-inches Super AMOLED display that offers a standard FHD+ screen resolution as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The 4G variant of the device is tipped to be powered by a Snapdragon 720G chipset, while the 5G variants gets a slightly more powerful Snapdragon 750G chipset. They will be available in a several memory configurations including 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.
For photography, the Galaxy A52 sports a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be rounded out by a 32 megapixels selfie camera upfront.
Under the hood, the device is backed by a 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 25W fast-charging via a USB Type-C port. Other than that, it also comes with IP67 certification and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
