Samsung recently launched its top-line product in the flagship category, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series of phones. Now the tech giant is gearing up to add a new model in the A-series category. Today, the publication Winfuture.de revealed all the major specifications of the A55, which will arrive as a successor to the Galaxy A54 launched last year. As per the leaked information, the Samsung Galaxy A55 will feature a 6.5-inch FHD AMOLED display with a resolution size of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display offers a brightness of up to 1000 nits.
Under its hood, the smartphone may come equipped with the company’s in-house processor, the Exynos 1480 octa-core SoC. In terms of RAM and storage support, Samsung’s upcoming device may offer two variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and it may also offer a microSD card slot for future storage expansion.
The report claims that the A55 may feature a rear triple-camera module, which may consist of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The phone’s front panel is likely to feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is said to run on Android 14 and One UI 6.1 out of the box. The device may support an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 will house a 5000mAh battery and support 25 watts of fast charging. The phone is reported to feature support for NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and WiFi 6. In terms of design, the phone is said to weigh 213 grams with dimensions of 161.1 x 77.4 x 8.2mm.

According to the publication, the Samsung Galaxy A55 6GB/128GB variant will come with a price tag of around 449 euros, whereas the 8GB/256GB variant may cost 500 euros. It is said to be released on March 11 in Germany. The phone is likely to come in four color variants, namely Navy blue, Ice blue, White, and Purple.
