Samsung had launched the Galaxy A80 smartphone in Thailand in April. The South Korean company has been gradually making the phone available in wider markets. Now the smartphone is up for pre-orders in China with a price tag of 3,799 Yuan.
The JD listing of the phone shows that it can be pre-booked with 100 Yuan deposit in China. The handset can be bought in colors like Space Black, Moonlight Silver and Peach Gold. The listing on the retailer site states that the smartphone is expected to start shipping on July 25 at 10 AM. Currently, the listing states that the smartphone is “out of stock.”
The Galaxy A80 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that supports full HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The One UI Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device. It is the first smartphone ever to feature the Snapdragon 730G chipset. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM. It has a built-in storage of 128 GB.
The smartphone lacks a selfie camera. The rear shell of the phone has a rotating 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + ToF sensor triple camera setup that can be also used for capturing selfie shots. The 3,700mAH battery of the phone carries support for 25W fast charging. It also features an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
