Samsung has couple of A-series phones waiting to get unveiled. Among them are Galaxy A60, Galaxy A80 and Galaxy A90. The Snapdragon 670 powered Galaxy A70 was announced recently and the Galaxy A60 and A70 phones are expected to go official in China tomorrow. There has been some confusion regarding the Galaxy A80 and Galaxy A90. While the A90 specs have been recently leaked on Weibo, the A80 phone has surfaced in the news for the first time through its Geekbench listing.
The Geekbench listing of the Samsung SM-A805F reveals that it is powered by Snapdragon 675 SoC and 8 GB of RAM. In the single-core and multi-core tests of the benchmarking platform, the Galaxy A80 has respectively scored 2488 and 6732 points. There is no information available on the other specifications of the smartphone.
The upcoming Galaxy A60 smartphone has a punch-hole screen design. The A70 is equipped with a waterdrop-styled screen with in-display fingerprint scanner. The A90 will be featuring a unique slider phone with a swivel triple camera setup on its slider. It will be arriving with a notch-less display and an in-display fingerprint reader. The newly spotted Galaxy A80 will be also coming with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. However, there is no information on the display design of the phone. The smartphone could be equipped with a 48-megapixel triple camera module. It would be good to see a more powerful Galaxy A-series phone with a punch-hole display design.
