Samsung Galaxy A8s, the first phone from the company with Infinity-O display design will be launching on Dec. 10. Recent reports have revealed that the SM-G8870 model number belongs to the Galaxy A8s. The smartphone has been certified by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. and it has also surfaced on TENAA today. The TENAA listing of the SM-G8870 only contains few details on its specs and images.
The Galaxy A8s TENAA images confirm that the upper-left corner of the display features n in-screen camera hole. The backside of the smartphone seems to be made out of glass that appear to be curved towards the edges. The rear panel is fitted with a vertical triple camera setup on the top-left corner.
A fingerprint scanner resides on the backside of the phone. The right edge of the smartphone features a volume rocker and a power key. The left side of the phone has a dedicated button for Bixby.
The Galaxy A8s TENAA listing reveals that its dimensions are 158.4 x 74.9 x 7.4mm. The handset features a 6.39-inch display. Rumors have it that it will be equipped with LCD screen. It is packed with a 3,300mAh battery. Rumors have it that is fueled by Snapdragon 710 chipset and 6 GB of RAM.
