Samsung Galaxy A9 Star, A9 Star Lite Appear in Freshly Leaked Video and Photos

Yesterday, a leaked photo of the Samsung SM-G8850 smartphone had appeared on Weibo. Since it has been certified by TENAA, it could b heading to China. Rumors have it that the handset may debut as Samsung Galaxy A9 Star. A lower version of the phone called Galaxy A9 Star Lite is also speculated to get unveiled along with the A9 Star. Here is the leaked video of the alleged Galaxy A9 Star.

Apart from the above video, the Galaxy A9 has also appeared in couple of new photos. In the below image, the handset can be seen in the white and black variants.

Samsung Galaxys A9 Star and A9 Star Lite

As it can be seen in the new images, the handset seems to be sporting a glass rear. It is also equipped with a vertical dual camera with an LED flash that is placed outside of the camera module. The square-shaped fingerprint scanner also resides on the back of the phone. The Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite are expected to arrive with identical design. However, the A9 Star Lite model may feature lower specs compared to A9 Star.

The Galaxy A9 Star is expected to feature a 16-megapixel selfie snapper and 24-megapixel + 16-megapixel dual camera. It may feature a 3,700mAh battery. The handset is speculated to be fueled by Snapdragon 660 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 64. Like other new Galaxy A series smartphones, the A9 duo are likely to feature Infinity Display design. The large Galaxy A9 is expected to house 6.3-inch OLED display with support FHD+ resolution.

Nothing it known on the arrival of the Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite. However, reports surrounding it claim that these could be China-exclusive devices.
