Samsung has released a list of smartphones that will be upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo in China. The report has also revealed the Oreo update release schedule for those phones.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G9300 – China Telecom variant), S7 Edge (SM-G9350) and Galaxy S7 (SM-G9308 – China Unicom variant) have already received the Android Oreo upgrde
In August, the Galaxy C5 Pro (SM-C5010 China Telecom) and Galaxy C9 Pro (SM-C9000 China Telecom and SM-C9008 China Unicom) will be receiving Android Oreo.
The Galaxy C5 Pro (SM-C5018 China Unicom), and Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010 China Telecom and SM-C7018 China Unicom variants) will be treated with Android Oreo in September.
In October, Galaxy Tab A (2017) (SM-T385C), Galaxy Tab TA 10.1 Plus SM-P583 and SM-P588C models and Galaxy On7 (2016) (SM-G6100) will be upgraded to Android Oreo.
In November, Galaxy Tab A (2017) (SM-T380C), Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (SM-T580 and SM-T585C), Galaxy J3 (2017) (SM-J3300 China Telecom, SM-J3308 China Unicom variants), Galaxy On5 (2016) (SM-G5510 and SM-G5520 variants) will be provided with Oreo update. In December, Android O.reo will be rolled out to Galaxy Tab Active2 (SM-T395C), Galaxy C8 Jade (SM-C7100) and Galaxy On5 (2016).
