The Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017) had appeared on TENAA and Wi-Fi certification in the previous month. It had also cleared Bluetooth SIG certification in June. These certifications suggested that it will be unveiled in the near future and now that the support page of the Galaxy C7 (2017) has appeared on Samsung’s Chinese site, it seems that its arrival is imminent. It only reveals that the smartphone will be equipped with Samsung Experience user interface.
Samsung is yet to release a smartphone with dual rear cameras. However, since the Galaxy C7 (2017) is getting closer, it could become the first Samsung smartphone with dual rear cameras. The TENAA listing has revealed that the model number of the phone is SM-C7100 and it includes a 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel dual camera setup. Its front-facing camera is of 16-megapixel.
It has a 5.5-inch screen that offers full HD resolution. It is driven by 2.39 GHz / 1.69 GHz octa-core processors which indicates its two variants will include two different processors. It is expected to come in variants like 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. It will be arriving with Android 7.1.1 Nougat pre-installed. It will be packed with a 2,850mAh battery. As of this writing, there is no information on when will it be unveiled.
