Samsung recently started teasing on the arrival of the new Galaxy F-series of smartphones in India. A landing page for the first F-series smartphone showed up yesterday on Flipkart. Hence, it appears that the F-series phones could be exclusively available through Flipkart in the country. The landing page now reveals that Samsung will unleash the Galaxy F41 on Oct. 8 at 5:30 PM IST.
The landing page has an image of the Galaxy F41 smartphone. The handset features an S-AMOLED screen and it has a u-shaped notch. The green-colored rear shell of the smartphone has a rectangular camera module with three lenses and an LED flash unit inside it. A fingerprint sensor can be also seen on the backside of the Galaxy F41.
The landing page mentions that the Galaxy F41 has a 6,000mAh battery. At present, there is no other information available on the specs of the phone mentioned on the page. Rumors surrounding the Galaxy F41 claimed that it could be a rebadged version of the Galaxy M31 with slight change in the rear camera setup.
It is speculated that the Samsung Galaxy F41 has a 6.4-inch display and it has a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel. The backside of the Galaxy M31 has a quad camera system led by a 64-megapixel lens. The rear-mounted triple camera setup of the Galaxy F41 may also feature a 64-megapixel main camera.
The Galaxy F41 could be powered by the Exynos 9611 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. The handset may arrive in 64 GB and 128 GB storage edition and color options like green, black, and blue. There is no word on the pricing of the Galaxy F41 at present. Samsung is expected to launch more Galaxy F-series phones in India in the near future. Rumors have it that the Galaxy F-series will be priced between Rs 15,000 ($204) and Rs 25,000 ($339) in the country.
