Today, popular tipster Mukul Sharma released a tweet to reveal that an upcoming F-series phone will arrive with the flagship-grade processor. Recent reports have revealed Samsung may launch two new F-series smartphones such as Galaxy F12 and Galaxy F62 in this month in India. It seems that the tipster could be talking about the Galaxy F62 smartphone.
According to the leakster, the chipset that will be powering the next F-series phone will deliver speedy performance. Without mentioning the name of the chipset, he revealed that the SoC can outperform Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G SoC with a multi-core score of 2401. He also mentioned that the smartphone will be priced under Rs 25,000 ($343).
Last month, a Samsung phone with model number SM-E625_DS received approval from the Bluetooth SIG authority. The listing revealed that the handset will be arriving in the market with the Galaxy F62 moniker. The support page of the phone went live on Samsung India’s website in the previous week. Hence, it is being speculated that the South Korean company may soon launch the Galaxy F62 phone in India.
At present, there are multi listings of the SM-E625F (Galaxy F62) on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. All of them show that the smartphone is driven by the Exynos 9825 chipset. It is the same chipset that powered by the Galaxy Note 10 series of smartphones that debuted back in 2019.
Reports have revealed that the Galaxy F62 could be coming with an AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint reader, 6 GB of RAM, 256 GB of built-in storage, Android 11 OS, a 7,000mAh battery, and a quad-camera system. It is speculated that the company may launch a rebranded version of the phone with Galaxy M62 in some markets.
