Samsung will be announcing the second-generation Galaxy Fold 2 in August. There is no official confirmation on its existence, but its heavily rumored to launch along with the Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy Z Flip 5G clamshell phone. Reliable tipster Ice Universe has shared fresh renders of the Galaxy Fold 2 based on the rumors surrounding it.
The Galaxy Fold 2 render shown above showcases an outline of the outer design of the phone. The outline shown on the left side shows that the Galaxy Fold 2 will have a larger cover display compared to the 4.6-inch cover display that was made available on the original Galaxy Fold.
The outline reveals that the Galaxy Fold 2’s cover display will be surrounded by slim bezels. It will be sporting a punch-hole design. Rumors have revealed that its size of 6.23 inches and it offers a resolution of 819 x 2267 pixels. It will carry support for the 60Hz refresh rate. The right side of the image has an outline for the rectangular camera housing which is said to house as many as three cameras.

The Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to come with a rate dual-system battery of 4,365mAh. It could be driven by Snapdragon 865 SoC and 12 GB of RAM. It may arrive with 64-megapixel + 16-megapixel + 12-megapixel triple camera unit and 256 GB / 512 GB storage choices. It won’t come with S Pen stylus.
