Samsung has silently introduced the Galaxy J4 Core smartphone. It is the second Android Go phone from the company. The entire specifications of the phone have been made official. However, the pricing and the markets that are to receive it are still under the wraps.
The Galaxy J4 Core seems to feature a polycarbonate body with metallic finish. The handset measures 160.6 x 76.1 x 7.9mm and it weighs 177 grams. The phone houses a 6-inch LCD screen that supports 720 x 1480 pixels which indicates that its offers 18.5:9 Infinity Display design.
The Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) comes preloaded on the phone. Since it is an Android Go phone, it features lighter version of Google apps such as Maps Go, YouTube Go and so on. The smartphone is fueled by 1.4 GHz quad core processor. The SoC is supported by 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage of the device is 16 GB. There is a dedicated microSD card slot for adding more storage on the device. The frontside of the phone is equipped with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. An 8-megapixel camera resides on the backside of the phone. The handset lacks a fingerprint reader.
The Galaxy J4 Core comes with connectivity features such as 4G LTE, support for dual SIMs, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone includes a 3,300mAh battery. Blue, Black and Gold are the three color variants of the Galaxy J4 Core.
