Samsung Galaxy J4 Core Android Go Phone Officially Announced

After announcing the Galaxy J2 Core as Samsung’s first Android Go phone, the company has unleashed the Galaxy J4 Core that also runs on the same Android platform. It features a larger-sized display and comes in attractive colors.

After the Galaxy A6s phone that was announced in China, the Galaxy J4 Core is the second phone to feature an IPS LCD display. The 6-inch display carries support for HD+ resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels. Since it sports Infinity Display design, it supports an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

There exact name of the processor that powers the Galaxy J4 Core is not known yet. However, the processor functions at 1.4 GHz. The SoC is supported by 1 GB of RAM. The handset includes an internal storage of 16 GB. For more storage, it offers its users with an external storage that carries support for up to 512 GB microSD card.

The smartphone features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On its rear is an 8-megapixel camera. The device is backed by 3,300mAh battery. For connectivity, it is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone also carries support for dual-SIM and 4G LTE. There is no fingerprint reader on the device.

The Galaxy J4 Core pricing is still under the wraps. Also, there is no information available on the countries that will be receiving the smartphone.
