The Galaxy J7 series of smartphones are quite popular in developing countries like India. Today, the company has launched yet another J7 phone called the Galaxy J7 Duo. It is the first phone from the company to arrive with dual rear cameras.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo Specs and Features
Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo does not feature the trendy 18:9 display, but it packed with a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio S-AMOLED screen of 5.5 inches. It offers HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The Exynos 7870 chipset that includes an octa-core processor that clocks at 1.6 GHz powers the smartphone along with 4 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 32 GB and has a microSD card slot for additional storage.
The Galaxy J7 Duo is loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo and it comes with additional features like Bixby Home and App Pair that allow users to work on two apps simultaneously. The rear panel of the phone is equipped with 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup with f/1.9 aperture each. For snapping selfies, it has a frontal camera of 8-megapixel. The handset receives power from 3,000mAh battery that lacks fast charging support.
Galaxy J7 Pricing and Availability
In India, the Galaxy J7 Duo will be available for buying with a price tag of Rs. 16,990 (~$264) from April 12. It will be available in Black and Gold color options.
