Samsung has officially announced another two budget smartphones in India today – Samsung Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M11. Both these devices come with decent specs at an affordable price point.
Samsung Galaxy M01
Among the duo, the Samsung Galaxy M01 is the most affordable model which is priced at just Rs.8,999 (US$119) for its sole 3GB+32GB model. The device features a 5.71-inches HD+ Infinity-V LCD display which has a 5 megapixels selfie camera housed within the dewdrop-notch.
At the back, the Galaxy M01 comes with a pill-shaped module which houses a pair of 13 megapixels main camera along with a 2 megapixels secondary shooter. This will be assisted by a LED flash located directly below the cameras.
Under the hood, the Galaxy M01 is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 439 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage in its memory department. The storage capacity could be further expanded by up to 512GB via a microSD card.
To keep its lights on, there will be a respectable 4,000mAh battery which is capable of supporting hours of continuous usage. As usual, it will run on Samsung’s One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 OS.
Samsung Galaxy M11
The Samsung Galaxy M11 on the other hand, is a pricier model which comes with slightly upgraded specs. This device comes with a 6.4-inches HD+ Infinity-O LCD display which has an 8 megapixels selfie camera affixed to the top-left corner.
On the flip-side, the Galaxy M11 will feature a triple-cameras array which include a 13 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
At the helm, the device will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB onboard storage which is also further expandable via a microSD card.
Unlike the Galaxy M01, the Galaxy M11 has a slightly larger 5,000mAh battery which comes with support for 15W fast-charging. On the software-side, it will also run on Samsung’s One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 OS.
In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy M11 will be priced at Rs.10,999 (US$146) and Rs.12,999 (US$173) respectively for its 3GB+32GB and 3GB+64GB models.
