Samsung Galaxy M02 with Snapdragon 450 Appears at Geekbench

Samsung announced the Galaxy M01 entry-level smartphone in India in June. It is believed that the SM-M025 smartphone that was recently approved by the Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance authorities could be arriving in the market as its successor model with Galaxy M02 moniker. MySmartPrice has spotted a listing of the Galaxy M02 phone at Geekbench. As usual, the benchmark listing has revealed the key specifications of the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy M02 Geekbench listing shows that it has 3 GB of RAM and it is driven by an octa-core processor that has a base frequency of 1.80GHz. The publication claims that the phone is driven by the Snapdragon 450 chipset.

In the single-core test, the Galaxy M02 scored 406 points and it recorded a score of 486 in the multi-core test. The other specifications of the smartphone are under wraps. Considering the fact that the phone has bagged various certifications including NEMKO AS, its arrival could be close at hand. The handset may debut as early as next month, but there is no official word yet on its existence.

Samsung Galaxy M01 Specifications

The Galaxy M01 has a 5.71-inch PLS TFT screen that produced 720 x 1520 pixels HD+ resolution. It runs on One UI 2.0 based Android 10 OS. The Snapdragon 439 chipset is present at the helm of the Galaxy M01.

The phone is equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot. For capturing selfies, it has a 5-megapixel front camera, and it has a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera system. The phone houses a 4,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
