Back in March 2020, Samsung announced the Galaxy M21 smartphone. Recently, a handset named Galaxy M21 2021 Edition was spotted at the Google Play Console. The listing revealed a few specs of the phone, but it did not confirm how it differs from last year’s model. A new report by 91mobiles that cites leaked information shared by tipster Ishan Agarwal has revealed new details on the specs of the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition.

As per the new leak, the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition’s specs will be identical to the original Galaxy M21. However, the newer model will ship with One UI 3.1 Core based on Android 11 OS. Apart from this change, the new phone is unlikely to arrive with any upgraded feature.
The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition is expected to feature a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED display that produces an HD+ resolution. The Exynos 9611 chip may power the phone with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage.
The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition may house a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. For photography, its rear-facing triple camera unit may feature a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The device may sport a front camera of 20-megapixel for selfies and video calls.
The report has no information on the pricing and availability of the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition. The predecessor model was priced at Rs 12,999 (~$174) at launch, Probably, the new model may hit the Indian market with similar pricing.
