Samsung has quietly announced a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Galaxy M22 in the European market, though it’s official availability and pricing remain under the wraps at the moment.
The Samsung Galaxy M22 sports a 6.4” Super AMOLED display which offers a HD+ screen resolution, smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate, as well as a 13 megapixels selfie camera housed within it’s U-shape notch upfront.
For photography, the Galaxy M22 relies on a quad-camera setup comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels sensor for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Galaxy M22 is fitted with a massive 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support. On the software-side, the phone will be shipped with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.
