Samsung Galaxy M31 Launched in India; Specifications, Features and Price

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy M31 smartphone in India. It has arrived as the successor the Galaxy M30s phone that went official in the country in September 2019. While the M31 retains some of its features from the predecessor model, it has arrived with some major improvements in the camera department.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Specifications and Features

The Galaxy M31 comes with a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED display that delivers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Infinity-U notch screen offers a tall aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone is fueled by the Exynos 9611 chipset. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The phone comes in UFS 2.1 storage editions of 64 GB and 128 GB.

The Galaxy M31 has a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel. The rear side of the phone features a rectangle-shaped camera setup. It has a 64-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 5-megapixel macro lens with a focal length of 4cm and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It comes with some exciting videography process such as Super Steady mode, Super Slo-Mo and Hyperlapse modes.

The Galaxy M31 has a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. The phone can easily last for more than two days with a single charge. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the backside of the Galaxy M31.

Samsung Galaxy M31 Price and Release Date

The Samsung Galaxy M31 will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart from Feb. 28. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage of the M31 is priced at Rs. 14,999 ($208) and 6GB + 128GB storage costs Rs. 15,999 ($222). The handset can be availed in color options such as Ocean Blue and Space Black. It will go on sale in India from March 5 through Amazon India.
