Samsung has officially announced a new mid-range model known as the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G in the Indian market where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just INR17,999 (US$237).
Starting with the front, the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G builds around a 6.6” IPS LCD display which offers a decent FHD+ screen resolution along with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. On top of that, it also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.
Over on the rear side, it comes with a square-shaped camera module which is home to a total of four cameras comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide unit, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood the Galaxy M33 5G is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1280 chipset which will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Galaxy M33 5G is backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery which carries support for 25W fast-charging. Software-wise, it’ll be shipped with One UI 4.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.
Other than that, it also worth noting that the phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as 3.5mm headphone jack which brings support for wired earphone. In the Indian market, the phone is priced at INR17,999 (US$237) and INR19,499 (US$257) respectively for it’s 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants.
