On June 11th next month, Samsung is set to announce their new Galaxy M40 during an official launch event held in India.
Right now however, an official render of the device had already been leaked, showing off the device’s front and rear designs. One obvious thing is that the Galaxy M40 will also be featuring an Infinity-O display on its front panel, as well as a punched-hole selfie camera located on its top-left. This makes the device the first handset from the Galaxy M series to come with a punched-hole camera.
According to earlier reports, the Galaxy M40 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC alongside 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage space. On its rear chassis, there will be a triple-camera setup which will house a 32 megapixels main snapper. As for the other sensors, we’ve still yet to hear anything about them. Moving to its front-facing selfie camera, it will feature a 16MP sensor which is rather decent for a mid-ranger smartphone.
Apparently, the new Galaxy M40 is said to cost around INR20,000 (S$395) – crowning it as the most expensive smartphone in the Galaxy M series.
