Samsung has unveiled a new M-series smartphone called Galaxy M40 in India. It is the fourth M-series phone from the company after the M10, M20 and M30 smartphones. The handset is fitted with an Infinity-O display and it also features a triple camera setup on its rear.

The Galaxy M40 has a 6.3-inch PLS display that has a circular cutout at its top-left corner. It carries support for full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. There is no traditional earpiece on the device. Instead, the phone comes equipped with a screen sound technology that allows it to emit sounds through its display.
The Snapdragon 675 mobile platform is at the helm of the Galaxy M40 smartphone. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM It comes with an internal storage of 128 GB. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage.
The display hole houses a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel. The rear side of the phone is fitted with a triple camera setup featuring a 32-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.The rear side of the phone is fitted with a fingerprint sensor. The 3,500mAh battery of the phone carries support for fast charging through USB-C.
The Galaxy M40 comes in two models such as Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue. The handset is priced at Rs. 19,990. The sales of the smartphone will begin from June 18.
