After launching the Galaxy M62 smartphone back in March last month, Samsung is now gearing up for the launch of yet another M series smartphone known as the Galaxy M42 which was recently certified by Wi-Fi Alliance and the Chinese 3C authorities.
Right now, the official promo video of the Galaxy M42 was also leaked on social media, hinting that the device may soon be making its official debut. Although the video doesn’t reveal much information pertaining to the handset, but we do know that it will be the first smartphone that supports 5G connectivity in the M series lineup.
If rumors are true, the Samsung Galaxy M42 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 750G chipset with at least 4GB RAM under the memory department. As usual, we do expect the phone to be available in multiple memory configurations as well.
Based on its earlier listings, the Galaxy M42 is likely to feature a hefty 6,000mAh battery which is pretty much a standard feature among the M series devices. As for the charging speed, it remains as a mystery at the moment.
If nothing goes wrong, the Galaxy M42 smartphone could be launched later this month.
