In March, the CAD renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M51 smartphone had appeared. There are some conflicting rumors that the handset could be called Galaxy M41. A report on Sammobile has carried some vital information on the Galaxy M51 phone as well as another upcoming phone called Galaxy M31s.
Samsung had to stop the operations of its factories in India due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, now that the lockdown has been relaxed to some extent in various parts of the country, the South Korean company has resumed its operations. According to the report, the company is working on two new M-series handsets such as Galaxy M51 and Galaxy M31s. The publication has revealed that their model numbers are SM-M515F and SM-M317F.
While there has been confusion between M51 and M41 as the name of the SM-M515F phone, the publication claims that the company will be launching it as Galaxy M51. It has also mentioned the Galaxy M51 could be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A51 that wen official in December 2019.
However, there will be some hardware and design changes on the M51. The A51 has a 4,000mAh battery. It is likely that the M51 may arrive with a bigger 5,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy M51 could be an internal storage of 128 GB. There is no word on the other species of the device. As far as the Galaxy M31s is concerned, the report also states that it will be coming with 128 GB native storage. There is a possibility that the company may release it in a 64 GB storage version.
