Samsung is holding a launch event on Aug. 23 to unveil the Galaxy Note 8. Speculations are rife that the Galaxy Note 8 would begin shipping in the home market from Sept. 15. The rumor mill has revealed the pricing of the Galaxy Note 8 for Chinese markets.
The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be available in three storage editions in China and all of them are expected to feature 6 GB of RAM. The 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB storage editions of the Galaxy Note 8 are rumored to be respectively priced at 6,288 Yuan (~$941), 7,088 Yuan (~$1,08) and 7,988 Yuan (~$1,195). The Chinese Galaxy Note 7 has already scored 179,000 average score on AnTuTu.
Previous rumors have revealed that the Snapdragon 835 powered Galaxy Note 8 will be hitting the U.S. market. The international markets are expected to get the Exynos 8895 model. It is speculated to come with a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display and it will be coming with a dual rear camera system enabled with 2x optical and OIS. It is likely to feature an IP68 certified chassis and will come loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. A wireless charging enabled 3,300mAh battery is rumored to be present inside the Galaxy Note 8.
