South Korean media had revealed in the recent past that Samsung may unveil the Galaxy Note 9 flagship smartphone may get unveiled on Aug. 9. Today, the South Korean tech giant has sent out invitations for an Unpacked event that will be held on Aug. 9. The invite does not clearly mention that the Galaxy Note 9 will be announced on the said date. However, the image of the stylus present on the invite is a good hint that the Note 9 will be made official at the upcoming unveil event.
Since the stylus seems to be sporting a new color of yellow, it is speculated that the Galaxy Note 9 would be made official in the new color. The Note 9 has recently been recently spotted on FCC which had indicated that the phablet may debut soon. Last year, the Galaxy Note 8 was made official on Aug. 23. This year, Samsung will be launching the Note 9 few weeks earlier than the predecessor model
Reports have revealed that the Galaxy Note 9 will be sporting a design similar to the Galaxy Note 8. Also, its dual camera setup is expected to borrow variable aperture from the Galaxy S9+. The Note 9 is expected to feature a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED screen with Infinity Display design, Exynos 9810 / Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6 GB of RAM, 256 GB of RAM and 4,000mAh battery.
